The Challenge

The Raikes Foundation’s website needed to reflect the bold new brand identity while serving as a dynamic platform that communicates its deepened commitment to racial and gender equity. The challenge was to translate a nuanced strategic framework and fresh visual language into an intuitive, accessible, and inspiring digital experience. The previous site lacked cohesion, clarity, and the warmth needed to truly engage diverse audiences—including grantees, partners, and philanthropic peers. We needed to design a site that not only honored the Foundation’s legacy but also embraced its future, offering streamlined navigation, clear storytelling, and flexible content architecture to support evolving priorities and amplify the voices of those it serves.
